My name is Keith and I am a software developer by day. When I go home I like to do one of two things: watch TV or something else. HA! Ha. Ahem. Seriously, I’ve enjoyed practicing photography for a few years now and it continues to be a hobby that I am very passionate about. One thing about me is, even though I have a lot of hobbies, I enjoy finding new things to spend time doing. Something that I started about September 2008 is woodturning. After browsing handfuls of art and craft festivals – oohing and aahing over the turned objects — I sensed that there might be something special between woodturning and me. At those same arts and craft festivals I saw many other things that I would like to try: carving stone, metalworking (forging and sculpting), jewelry making, etc. Do you see what I mean? The hobbies just keep stacking up! I guess the problem is that I like all of them so it’s hard to choose which one to do and when.
